Insert airless spray tip into holder

BlastOne’s Master Technician, Kerry Cooper, shows how to correctly insert an airless spray tip into it’s holder

So, the things to remember, with the tip base and tip itself, is that the tip has a backing washer.

Now, the way that these have been appropriated to be able to put them easily in the back of the tip base itself, is by putting the tip half-moon washer into onto the end of the tip.

With the half-moon cutout section, we slide that into the tip base itself, twist the tip, and then the tip is easily put into the tip base itself like so.

Now, it has a cam on the top of it which has to be turned. Let it go home and turn it back again. So, that is the appropriate way to fit a tip into a tip housing.

Always clean. Always utilizing. Clean tips that are never ever left to dry on the gun. They’re always immersed in solvent.
