This customer was a notable industrial painting contractor in Minnesota. They had a large, on-site facility with four paint booths. Additionally, the client had four trucks used for mobile sandblasting throughout Minnesota.

The blasting contractor came to BlastOne looking for a solution that would enable them to blast outside when it was raining. Secondly, they wanted to contain dust, abrasive and blasting environs.

Finally, the changing weather impeded production. With only three blasters and an outdoor location, project timelines suffered.

We proposed a hoop dome structure which was set on top of four shipping containers. The customer could blast all year around regardless of the weather. Also, because the structure is designed to be portable, the customer is not limited in their future expansions. The outdoor hoop dome could easily be transported to a new facility.

The dome dhelter is 50 ft wide, 80 ft long. The center clearance is 21 ft high and includes 2 fast rubber roll up doors to allow a pass-through blasting set up.

Our client has increased profits and workflow with the hoop dome structure. They can now blast 365 days a year. Finally, they can prosper as a profitable industrial painting contractor in the Minnesota region.
