In October 2020, Moore Painting, a dedicated painting contractor, was entrusted with the task of preparing a new steel coating on a 225 ft diameter fuel tank floor at Patoka, Illinois. The project’s primary goals were to increase productivity and optimize labor.

SET-UP

For this project, the VertiDrive blasting robot was the chosen tool. Equipped with 2 Ultra #8 blast nozzles and loaded with GMA GX2 garnet, the VertiDrive was optimally prepared to meet the project goals.

RESULTS
